I texted Tylor in the morning and told him I had his variator so to ride my lender 150cc scoot over and we'd go back in my truck to put his variator on and he was here in minutes Ummm 10mi away Okay don't dog it too bad Tylor hahahaha right!!!! After going to the market for the wifey for supper stuff we headed back to his house with tools. I watched him use my impact wrench installing the new belt and variator saying okay blip blip that's enough because I just didn't feel warm an fuzzy about someone with my impact wrench capable of 250ft lbs of truck lug twisting off torque doing that without my hands on it. Then Tylor said I'll meet you at your house and I said Uh I'll follow you and then a funny change of events happened, following him his side bodywork fell off on London bridge road and I hit my brakes and it blew to the side of the curb fortunently so I stopped and picked it up, then took off to catch Tylor fish tailing down the road for 50yds and passing him on a turnaround and I held it up and he smiled, but then I got a call on bluetooth and it was Tylor, Uhhh Pops heh I got no throttle and it won't start so I turned around and came back to pick him and his scoot up, I told him to turn it over and sure enough I could hear the variator gear clanging so It obviously came loose. So he removed the gas tank off of it and we, well he loaded it, I ain't lifting anything heavier than a pen, pillow and a beer. So loaded up in the truck and we headed to my house and I installed the variator this time just shy of ringing off a Lugnut, it won't come loose again thats for sure. then with that over we tackled the next Hi-Performance Muffler job by first cutting off the old rusted and literally ready to fall off piece of crap, every weld on it was rusted through and it was just ready to go bouncing into the front off someones nice car or truck, this was step #1, had Tylor sand his old header pipe to the metal about 3" down from the cut.
Step #2, Poppa Webby haha decided where and what angle I wanted to weld the adapter on. Notice the pillows Arrgghh back still not good but I'm trying to be careful as a mouse as I want to ride again soon but just can't help myself from helpimg others.
Step #3, I got setup and welded the adapter on. Of course I put my gloves on first. And leather apron covering gas tank, that would not be a good thing to get sparks on eh!
Step #4, I made sure the weld was solid and it was very solid.
Step #5, I installed the muffler and was inspected and approved by one of my cats, he thought it looked great and chilled out. Until we lit it off, then he went screaming into the night hahahaha
Step #6, Tylor cut a section of the old mounting hardware off the old muffler for a re-fab.
Step #7, figuring out how it needed to be bent and drilled. reason for funnel, I decided to check the oil Arrgghhh, nothing on the dipstick, I was suprized at Tylor and told him so like a Pop would tell you and he calls me Pops, I like that hahaha, i have so many kids. You need to watch this stuff ergo second news item, WATCH THE OIL ON THESE!!!! after I ripped into him about that he'll watch it now. when he had my bike he checked it 3 TIMES he said but his own nope. Darn. next up I told him to buy a quart of castrol Syntec 20-50 and come for instructions on a oil change, for the time being we filled it up with some wesson cooking oil hahaha Just kidding, some Rotella-T 10-30, great oil but a little light for a scooter but it'll save the engine from a meltdown. Texted Tylor this morning and so far running very well with no problems, cheers. Oh and Fugo came back, I think there were a few choice cats words said, like you bastards you could have given me a warning.
Step #8, Bodywork back on and muffler ancored and very solid. Ancored to the engine and plenty of room for suspension movement. Perfect. now just a little Black High Heat Paint and it'll look like it was made for it. One of these is perfect for a Honda Metro which the Sunl Tylor has is a Metro knockoff so he says. While we were at it I fixed the wires on his fuel gauge and we replaced a burnt out blinker bulb and adjusted his back brake. I'll be looking to order him a new front brake cable which is snapped. Front brakes stop you.

Maintenance on these scooters is imparitive. Oil changes at least every 1,000mi and only takes 30min if your quick (DO IT), they only take a quart mostly (CHEAP) even for the best on the market like Royal Purple/Rotella-T/Moble 1 or something at $8.00 a quart, I recommend 20-50wt Don't buy cheap shit PLEASE unless your willing to replace your whole engine for $400. This things run (HOT) and compared to a car/truck winging at 1,700-2,200rpms at highway speed 65mph these are turning 3,000-8,000rpm's on a regular basis on the city streets, much more work being done there. DON'T NEGLECT THAT LIL,MOTOR.

Well since my other muffler fell apart on Neil I finally got the new one and installed as painful and careful as I could. This one is a pretty trick color though and is the same as the other only blue carbon fibre. There were only 2 of these made for show bikes that the guy that special ordered them never paid for so I got one which is what I wanted in the first place but the guy wouldn't sell them because they were already spoken for. He has one left. Oh and I bought this other muffler before I got this one that said it was for a 125-150cc Bullshit, the inside diameter of the adapter is around 24.4mm and the outside diameter of Tylors 50cc Sunl is about 24.4mm perfect for a 50cc if you guys are interested in getting one of these, take and outside measurement of your primary header pipe. This is a straight though muffler and made pretty well, stainless and only about 13" long. I'm going to mount this one on Tylors scoot as soon as I can walk straight. here a link to the eBay site, it was only like $60 shipped. You can look straight though this muffler just like mine and I'm sure this is what you were looking for David Finney! Click Here

Well the turnout was awesome, 15 of us to start with. Looked pretty cool riding through Norfolk I'm sure. Two motorcycles up front 13 scooters in the middle and my sweet looking support truck with the Website Header Banner on the tailgate and the Emergency Flashers on behind us. Two bailed in Ocean View because of the heat and then we had some heat related breakdowns on shoredrive around great neck rd.. So we stopped at Mc D's ate and cooled off and went our seperate ways, just to hot to ride at 25-35mph, thanks to everyone for giving it a shot, we didn't anticipate this heat wave. We'll get something going when it cools off. Unfortunently like I thought being untested the helmet cam angle was looking at the street lights. But we got a few pics and a small video with the camera from the support truck. And a big thanks to Bobby for making us a Banner to fly where ever we're at, just make sure that troublesome scoot of yours will hold up next time Bob hahahaha, we'll give it a once over before we leave eh! Love ya brother and I guess I got you home just in time, I drove right into a THUNDERSTORM on the way home. I can't remember all your names but if you could shoot me an email with your name that would be cool. Anybody not on this list. There was Phillip,Tyler,Neil,Todd,Moe,Scooter,Me Steve,Billy,Donovan,Willie,Smokie,Mark and I'm missing about 3 names.
For a canceled meeting It was pretty cool, we went from the Library to my place to pick up my scoot then from there to pungo on to sandbridge and sat in the resturant and shot the breeze. Then from there down general booth to pacific ave and on to ocean view where I broke off. From left to right Scooter,David,Steve,Neil & Billy. Had a good time fellas! On the way back down Upton we passed the Total Ruckus scooter club heading to Sandbridge I assume, Heh Total Ruckus. It would be EPIC if we could get all these clubs together for one big scooter Rally, lets work on that.

Frick Us eh!!!!!!! We were doing the speed LIMIT or less. Not a Great Video But We Did Stop At Greenies Bar & Grille. this was cool as we sat and talked and did order a TOWER of Draft BEER and this was something I haven't seen yet. Finally got the dent fixed in the tank with a little body putty and painted it and the front and Back fender and Pin Stripped them in Gold she's looking pretty sweet. Next I have the special tools and torque wrenchs and will be adjusting the valves and getting the carburators tuned and sycronized then the seat Re-Upolstered..Old bikes are a pain in the ass but gotta love that vintage look. .
Check This Out, Had a problem with it running rather crappy. I installed a Hi-Flow Carbon Fibre Muffler (A Little Loud And Sounds Like a Ducatti, Real Deep unlike a scooter) and a Hi-Flow CoolAir Intake made from a radiator hose I bought at Advance and a Hi-Performance Air Filter from Scrappydog Scooters. Upon removing the the old intake tube I found that it was cracked in several places, Not Good. So with more air in and more exhaust out I bought a jet kit off eBay with a 120/125/130/135 main jets. Reading the manual I have for download on here in the Performance upgrade pdf for a stock GY6 it recommended a 130 Jet for a Hi-Flow Intake and Exhaust upgrade and WOW this runs smooth as hell and makes a TON of power compared to what it was like stock. much more enjoyable to ride. This video basically tells all I've done to it with the exception of maybe a few things I left out since I got it from BL4KKAT.
Im wondering about the mirrors on Bobbys bike. i need new ones. If it is able to be put back together id love to get it. But as of right now, im thinking bout the mirrors. i thought about the wheels. but those are probally to big
I'm not really sure lol -when I broke down I had no clue how to fix it back then so after I got my new bike, I never messed w/ it -all the parts are still there, just need new hoses and such. Plus has been in a garage the whole time out of the elements
Does that engine run Bobby? tylors motor won't fit that bike just incase thats what yer thinking tylor, your is a short case 50cc Bob's bike is a long case. Nice scoot though if it was put back together.
hey all, I'm selling my old 49cc Avanti 12" wheel scooter. It is for parts only, tires/wheels are good, frame is good and most of the parts are there, just needs work. When it broke I didnt know how to work on it and ended up getting a 150. Selling for $75obo -just let me know.
Back rim has slight bend which is letting air out of a whole no bigger then an ant. and ive yet to inspect the true cause of my leak of the front tire. Is there anywhere i can buy a whole rim and tire combo? I think my wheels are 12 inches. Further investigation is required
SOOO inspected the tire more. its not the tire that is causing the leak. Its the rim, well for my back wheel anyway. Front tire still leaks but not as bad. haha. i just need a new scooter XD haha
No word but thank the lord I have full coverage on it. I really hope who ever took it falls and bust their ass they really dont know the power behind that bike its a Honda
Thanks everyone a picture of my bike is in the picture gallery on the website the bike has red led lights on the bike from the front of the seat going around the the silver trunk and down the other side of the seat the trunk looks like the back of a car.
Where would be a good place or site to buy a new front and back tire for a 49cc scooter? both of mine have slight leaks and i have to pump air into them every morning ha.
Just got a new mirror and will be looking into a side plate for the cowl. Costly damage to it when I lent it to Tylor, fortuneltly he's okay but the bike didn't fair so well. But it'll be looking good for the coming season.
geez Moe -good luck -do you have a pic? I'm always riding around and if know what it looks like can keep an eye out -had a bike stolen in front of my front door so know how it feels
PLEASE BE ON THE LQQKOUT FOR MY (HONDA SH150i ) DARK RED WITH A SILVER TRUNK ON THE BACK WITH RED LIGHTS ALL AROUND THE BACK AND SIDES OF THE BIKE. IT WAS STOLEN FROM IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE SOMETIME BETWEEN 1:30AM AND 6:00 AM THIS MORNING. IF YOU SEE THIS BIKE PLEASE GIVE ME A CALL AND CALL THE POLICE(917)642-3795.
ok so im buying my old roommates scoot for like 100 bucks. webby you interested in helpin me switch out the engine assembly on his bike and putting it on mine? exact same brand of bike different years though (dont know if that matters) just let me know
apparently we've had some hackers setting up some sort of Phishing device on our server. So it don't the first time wait a couple seconds and try it again. I've done an upgrade but have had problems with the SQL database since so bare with us okay. I've contactd the host HOSTEK which are a great bunch of PC guru's and there on it.

Don't know Moe, I was working and that was posted by someone in the Total Ruckus Club I think. Well 25 of you had a good ride thats good. I didn't have anything to do with organizing that ride darling.
Hello everyone, what happened to the Hellowheels ride? it was 25 of us waiting at cycle gear. Then we thought everyone had left us so I told everyone that we was suppose to ride to pembrook mall, so we all rode to the mall, but no one was there. So we went on a nice ride and got something to eat. What happened?
Cooking burgers on the grill tonight. the oven blew up on the wife the other day, scared her $hitless, I got a new element today though and fixed it. so it's good now.
Once Bobby come up with a page if he does or I do, I'll make this banner clickable to that page, OKAY HONEY HAHAHA. I kill myself, too many bud lights yikes.
Sugar Free Non-Dairy WOW sounds like a crashing bore to me Neil hahahahaha, Give me an ice cream cake and a damm pulled pork Bar-B-Cue sandwich w/coleslaw and hot sauce hehe
And don't forget about the steamed crabs (AYCE), on Saturday, from 12:00 until, the price is $15, all you can eat, includes drink, they're gonna be good!!
Well, I have an Italian dinner, I am catering on the 23rd, and I need something for desert. Can you come up with something sugar-free, Non-dairy, for about 80 people? And give me a price. Also, no pork fat, this is for Jewish folks.
Still nursing a sore back. Got a bit over zealous at work today and aggravated it again, NOT TWEAKED but it abit sore. So I'm sitting with an ICE Pack and some Ibuprophens. Dammit. I hate this shit.
I not charging her anything Bobby, but any free help I can get would be great. I'll send you the pics she sent me, and if yer not busy what cool stuff you can come up with. On the way.
Might even opt for a link on my menubar with a full page ad. Hostek might not like that too much but they'll just make me take it down if they see it and consider it a business. hahahaha but i doubt it. Thats what I think I'll do. I'll set her up something. Shes a sweet lady, with a scooter hahahah.
Shes got it going on Neil judging from some Of the pics she sent to make an ad for her here. I'll get a rolling banner up for her shortly. Just haven't had time.
Moniques AD with be on site this next 4 days off. Got to make a rolling banner out of one of her beautiful pics of her great pastry work. Trying to figure out which one to use and got to go back to work tommorow so it'll be coming. Might get her to make a cake for my next BD party. Yummy
Yeah, I would love to make that ride on my Lean Green LOUD Machine, but I have a rental that night, but...If anybody is interested, there is a Crab Steaming at American Legion Post 35, down in Ocean View (by 8th Bay/View St) , past Greenies toward Willoughby, on the 15th. Starts at NOON, I think it's $10, all the crab and beer you can eat/drink....yours truly will be steaming the crabs, til I gotta go do the other thing......and they are always good!!! No reservations needed....in March, Linwood and I took home a Five Gallon Bucket (each) of leftovers, so bring your friends!!!
Well, got the Lean Green Machine on the road (barely...lol), Wow it is small....lol. The Halloween ride I was talking about is Oct. 15th, 7-9pm, they are meeting at Cycle Gear on Little Creek Rd. I'm thinking the guy will join up here, before too long. But, anyone is welcome on the ride.
Total bummer!!! I'm sorry da' don. Will keep my eyes peeled tho. 0_0 Sheesh, I think I put 4 locks on mine, 2 U bolts, rotor lock, and a cable AND a heavy chain which I attach to light post/sign what ever. And thats while its sitting in the car port. Sad ya gotta do stuff like that.
good luck w/ that Don.. I know the police are crap when helping w/ stolen scoots. Had one stolen couple yrs ago :-\ Hope you find yours so we can all beat their asses
Will do Billy, forgot about that or i would have taken a picture just for that. But we were kind of scrambling at the end because it looked like it was going to rain on us.
long time everyone. a lot going on right now. good to see everyone is doing ok, minus your back pains webby. imin the process of getting a new place to live, me and alyssa are splittin fun fun. so who the hell knows when im gonna have this bike on the road! im trying to set it up so all i have to do is order my engine on the 7th. dont you worry yourself steve, i will figure something out. you just focus on healing up so you can come out and ride when i get this mess all figured out.
Welcome to the club Chris, thedivingpirate hahaha cool name. We'll schedule a ride sometime as soon as my back heals enough to take a bump. We're a great bunch of guys/gals that love to ride and I would really like somebody to email me on setting up a ride even though i can't make it. I'll post it and you'all can meetup and ride. Even though I run the site and are the president I love you all and want you to get together so schedule something and I'll post it. PLEASE
Heard about that guy thru my buddy scooter. I remember last halloween I saw a guy on a crotch rocket wearing a chicken suit. Funniest sh@t I've ever seen on a bike. Sounds like fun! No go on gy6 stuff. Hey Dave any time u wanna ride, holler at me. We could meet up any where and go anywhere. I'll take my Zuma and keep pace wit ur Metro. Btw, a guy at work has an '02 Metro 4 sale. Cream/blue. 8 out of 10 if anyone's intrested.
There's a Ruckus Guy that's planning a Halloween Ride (I don't think it's actually on Halloween, though. He should be getting up here to post about it soon (if not, I will get the info Monday). I'm off sailing in the morning....Yorktown tomorrow, then Cape Charles Saturday and back to Little Creek Sunday....Woohoo.
Do yall have any rides for this month. if so please lite me know is i can take off work form my job at the beach. i am a parking inforcer down their. thank. Steve i got the email about the mufffer to late but thanks for the tought.
Probably won't sound as good as your 150, but I'm sure it'll sound 100x's better than stock. I'm a big fan of obnoxiously loud. I also have some malossi clutch and contra springs too. Not sure if they will fit a gy6 clutch. I'll check tho. It'll make his scoot quicker off the line.
If I feel up to it I'll be welding that straight through muffler on his 50cc scoot this four days off when his parts get there. Can't waiti to see what it sounds like.
I have the dr.pulley slider variator for my scoot, but to tell you the truth, one of them stuck and since then I used the round ones in the same variator made for sliders and they never gave me another problem since, 14g in mine. Good/Great acceration and kicking top speed. the sliders were 15g and a little sluggish on take off but top speed WOW.
